The interior architectural design direction of ‘yours coffee bar’ is Ecuadorian inspired by its greenery, neutral palette and pop of color.
The main concept of this café design is to create an indoor space that feels like the outdoors. Some of the key elements chosen to shape the interaction between the interior and the outdoors includes: the artificial skylight LED panels, the retractable windows and custom made burgundy corian bench seating as well as the trendy traventin mustard colored stone, MDF mustard colored wood, and backlit greenery surface create a sense of liveliness and brightness to the space interior.
The orientation and layout of the space is simple and straightforward. The customer walks in and is directed to the counter. The base of the counter consists of walnut based wood and star shaped wood pieces attached to custom made rods. This gives a playful and natural element within the space. The back wall of the counter is a custom made bronze mirror frame to portray the illusion of the space being much bigger than it is in reality.
In the back section of the café, poly carbonate sliding door act as a barrier towards the storage area. The back wall of the storage space is backlit surrounded by white painted walls. When looking from a distance, the viewer feels a sense of continuity. Nevertheless the added greenery in the back space area continues to give that outdoor / greenhouse effect, and also acts as a filter for any storage clutter.
Furniture is simple and consists of natural oak wood with matte finished lacquer, and custom made tables with tied rope material around the bottom of the legs for a more natural aesthetic feel. In addition, the seats for the bench seating area are upholstered leather with perforated seats perfect for warm climate due to the breathable nature of the material.
